Omega-3, especially derived from algae oil, can help maintain brain function, heart function and vision.
While oily fish is the main source of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) in the human diet, new technologies now allow us to go directly to the original source – the algae that form the food base of fish.
Algae oil is the only available source of 100% plant-based DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids.
The long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA complement each other. Therefore, although both support cellular, brain, heart, and eye health, taking only one is not advised in the long term.

Our vegan soft capsule made of corn starch, glycerin, carrageenan and sodium carbonate are particularly easy to swallow.
The absorption of Omega 3 can be influenced by the level of Omega 6, which comes from refined vegetable oils that are added to processed food. Therefore, it would be better to reduce the intake of vegetable oils high in omega 6. Conversely, the absorption can be enhanced by fat – thus, we suggest taking omega 3 along with a meal that contains fat.

Our source of plant omega-3 with DHA and EPA is the microalgae Schizochytrium sp.. It is able to naturally produce the vital omega-3 fatty acid DHA in larger quantities, as well as EPA. The microalgae are cultivated in specially closed containers. This is absolutely sustainable due to environmental and resource conservation. By cultivating the algae, the fish and krill stocks in the oceans remain unaffected. For vegetarians and vegans who do not eat fish, the algae oil is therefore an excellent alternative. For allergy sufferers, it is also a very good option, because the algae oil does not even contain traces of potentially allergenic fish proteins compared to classic omega-3 capsules from fish oil.
Our body cannot produce essential fatty acids itself and must therefore take them in through the diet.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids, which is why you have to supply them to your body through your diet. If you don’t consume enough of them, it can have an impact on your physical and mental well-being.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for life. They can improve the flow of blood and inhibit blood clotting. In addition, they are said to have antihypertensive and anti-inflammatory properties and can positively influence triglyceride metabolism.
Our soft capsule shells contain corn starch, which to some extent also consists of polysaccharides. However, our producers assure that this proportion is less than 100mg per capsule shell. Whether or not this amount is in a range of concern for diabetics is not something we can answer definitively and universally.
So if you are concerned in this area, we recommend that you seek an expert medical opinion as to whether the product can be safely consumed in this regard. Since it is your health that is at stake here, we unfortunately cannot and are not allowed to provide any information on this.
This is a completely natural behavior of the fatty acids contained. Certain fatty acids solidify at low temperatures, including stearic acid in particular. Since only some fatty acids become more solid and thus opaque, crystalline structures are formed in the mixed oil. When the capsules are slowly heated again, the crystalline turbidities can take on a more cloud-like form or even dissolve completely. The slower the heating, the sooner the turbidities disappear again.
However, this behavior is a completely natural process. The quality of the product is not affected in any way. A similar phenomenon can be observed, for example, in very high quality olive oils. Moreover, this allows us to confirm that we do not use any fillers in our capsules, but that it is a completely natural oil.
